Ready to test yourself on an off-road Segway?!

If you're looking for something slightly different for your stag weekend's activities look no further. Segways have arrives at our Bristol venue. These unique vehicles are worked by some weird gyroscopic technology, but more importantly they are a lot of fun and something completely different. Once you've got your head around how these 2 wheeled vehicles stay upright, just step on and experience a whole new method of transport. The Segways are run in 2 different formats. Mix it up with any other activity on site and enjoy a skills course with safari style drive, or alternatively try them out in our Zombie apocalypse package.

Segways Frequently Asked Questions

Does Crossbow require a lot of strength to take part?
Not necessarily, the bows can reach the same weight as an air rifle or shotgun and the objective is to keep the bow steady as you squeeze the trigger. This requires more skill and concentration than just strength.

What is the minimum/maximum group size?
We do not have a minimum number but a group of 6 and under, we reserve the right to mix you with another party (up to a group size of 12). Maximum group size is 12 people, if your group size is larger than this you will be split over 2 or more tracks or you will be provided with more time.

How long does the session last?
The crossbow activity is normally run in a package. It does depend on which package you have booked as to how long you will be on site. A package with four activities can last between 3 and a half hours to 4 hours.

How long will I be on site?
This is dependant on the package booked but we ask that you arrive half hour prior to the start of your activities, and you will need at least 15 minutes from when the activities have finished to getting in your car.

Am I insured?
Max Events carries £5 million public liability insurance. This covers us and you in the event of our negligence. You are provided with all instruction necessary to complete the activity safely, if you operate any equipment beyond your ability or the boundaries that we provide you will not be covered, it does not cover you for acts of stupidity or if an incident arises beyond our control.

Can we operate in any weather?
Unfortunately we cannot control the weather. In most cases we work very hard to ensure your event runs smoothly and with the required activities in your booking. If we feel we have a health and safety issue we would try and make contact in the week prior to your arrival and offer some alternative suggestions. In extreme circumstances on the day we may have to offer an alternative activity which carries an equal or greater value.

Can I wear fancy dress?
Yes, if you like the look of William Tell or Wonder Woman, it’s not a problem
